Today is Rare Disease Day, it takes place on the last day of February each year. The Join Our Boys Trust is committed to support this wonderful initiative. It is estimated that there are over 7000 Rare Diseases and the human and financial cost to anyone affected is immense and immeasurable; it really is a club you would much rather not belong to. That said it is an inspirational and powerful community.
The main objective of Rare Disease Day is to raise awareness of Rare Diseases globally and by each one of us becoming involved we are able to support education and collaboration between all stake holders as well as the general public.
